THE NEW SINGLE IS OUT NOW..! Hey Everybody, I am so excited to tell you that my new single “Whatcha Wanna Do” was released on October 13 2023!!! I have also had the good fortune of partnering with EXPANSION RECORDS for this release! As many of you know, I have been in London for the last year and a half. So this is my first release from this part of the world! The Soul, Jazz & Funk review said:

Well, summer 2022 is getting off to a great start..! The weather in London has been amazing! I have been hard at word on new music for you too! A couple weeks ago a song I collaborated on as co-writer and featured artist on the LUMAN CHILD EP Love Is The Message titled GRATEFUL was released on Tru Toughts Records. It landed at #3 on the UK Soul Breakers chart! I have posted a link above. It’s an up beat, inspirational song that just makes you feel good…or as a friend said “it makes me feel like living!” My new single “What Chu Wanna Do?” will be dropping real soon so stay tuned! “One of the things I loved about growing up in Philly was the music on the radio and the fact that all the major acts hit Philly…So when I saved up my allowance, I went to concerts to see the best of the best, at there best! That was music education too!
But my formal training was classical voice and that carried over into Musical Theater. The theater really grew me as a young, developing artist…Those basic classical disciplines like vocal exercises and breath control have carried me up to this very day…and for that, I am grateful!” My first night club work was fronting a Jazz band called “A Different Class”! That really introduced me to Jazz as a young artist and one of the first things I did when I recorded my first independent CD titled “All My Love” was record a Jazz classic that I love titled ‘Round Midnight…I posted it for your enjoyment. I have had so many magical encounters in my life in show biz…Like working with Luther Vandross on his “Power Of Love” video. I was not chosen initially at the casting in LA. When Mr. Vandross came to see who had been selected for the video, he picked up a stack of photos that I was in. He asked casting if I had been chosen. Casting said “no, we thought he looked too young for what you wanted” Luther said “I want him in my video”. Casting phoned and said “Robert, Mr. Vandross picked your photo out of a stack of pictures and would like you on set at 5:am tomorrow! I was so there and yes, there was magic! RIP Luther Ronzoni Vandross…
